There are many different types of therapy in counselling. Each person is unique, responding differently to different counselling styles and approaches. It is important we choose the right approach to suit your needs and preferences.
We aim to identify and build on your inherent strengths in order to foster growth and resilience. During counselling sessions, we may draw from a variety of techniques and therapeutic models, including:
During your initial session, Russell will listen to your story to develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs and concerns. We will then work together collaboratively to develop goals and a personalised therapy plan to achieve these goals.
Our Approach
Counselling services are offered online via the Abound online platform.
We will meet together in a virtual counselling room which provides a safe space where privacy and confidentiality is assured.
To connect, you will need a PC, laptop, or other mobile device, and a stable internet connection.
Please connect to the Abound website to make your booking. Intake forms will be emailed to you to complete prior to your first session.
Fees:
Our standard fee for counselling is $90 per hour. Payment is taken through Abound at time of booking.
Should you be experiencing financial difficulty, please contact Russell to discuss options and availability for reduced rate. Please note that government funding is not available to subsidise our fees and we cannot claim the Medicare rebate.
